East to West |
| Southern State Parkway to Exit 19N -- Peninsula Boulevard. At the end of the ramp, make a right (and then get into the left lane before the third light). At the third traffic light make a left onto President Street (Hempstead High School is on left). Proceed on President Street to the third light, which is Front Street. Make a left onto Front Street (there will be an AutoZone store in front of you), and travel two lights to Hempstead Avenue. Before the White Castle, bear left onto Hempstead Avenue and travel two lights to Hempstead Gardens Drive (after the Bank of America). Make a left onto Hempstead Gardens Drive, and GSD is the second building on the left #25. (The total distance from Exit 19N to GSD is 1.5 miles.)

West to East |
Southern State Parkway to Exit 18 -- Eagle Avenue. At the end of the exit, make a left onto Eagle Avenue. Proceed over the Southern State to the 4th right, which is Hempstead Gardens Drive (There is a Tennis Center on the corner). Make a right onto Hempstead Gardens Drive and proceed for 1.25 miles (along the LIRR tracks). GSD is #25. The curve in the road leads to GSD's loading dock. Make a left at the stop sign and drive to the Shipping & Receiving area on the side of the building. (The total distance from Exit 18 to GSD is 1.8 miles.)
